I'm giving this a five for major creativity, for writing such an amazingly sweet, vulnerable but strong heroine, and for giving her such a marvelous hero to rescue.I've tried quite a few authors on Wattpad and been severely disappointed so many times. I mean this is a clip of the pain I've endured trying to find a great story: "He ask jumping around." "I wore a red dress that reach above my knees and black heels." "He suddenly grabbed my waist and I gasp." "I was doing through Vera wangs folder when the door opened." **CRINGE** I can take some grammatical errors but some of these books were PAINFUL.
So when I started "Blindspot" (previous name for Dead and Buried), I was not expecting much. But the plot sounded unique and the synopsis wasn't painful to read, so I dove in. It was 8pm. I thought I'd read for an hour. I went to bed at TWO AM when the book was finally over. WOW I got sucked into Happy/Rosie's world and never looked bad. And when my alarm went off at 5:45, I didn't regret the lack of sleep. And that is how a book gets 5 stars from me. :)
Happy/Rosie and Max are just adorable. And Max is just sweet and simple enough to take on Rosie's complication and hurdle the walls she's built up around herself. The side plots were great build-ups to the romance and the finale.
Congrats to Ms. Rose for coming up with a wonderful story and telling it with style! Thank you!
Her other book on Wattpad (Forgiving History) is also worth reading. The only other author I've found on Wattpad worth tracking down on Goodreads was Robert Thier. So go check them out; I promise they are TEN TIMES better than the average author-wannabe on Wattpad. :)

Loved the interface with Happy, the ghostly cast of characters and Butch. Takes the reader to a dimension not usually addressed thru a 7 year old's eyes.
This is really a good book for girls like me that like mysteries and awesomeness

I love this character! It's fascinating to see the ghost story through the eyes of a child who, at the same time, is dealing with a life no kid deserves. It's really easy to become attached to Happy. I really love the author's style and look for to much more from her!
This is a quick read that leaves you wishing the rest of the series were already written. Happy is a character you can't help falling in love with, a little girl whom you want to protect and cherish. I'll be adding this series to my wish list.
You just know that any book that has an 8 year old foster child named Happy as the main character is going to have a sad story and an unhappy ending. Add creepy, clear blue eyes with one black center, an ability to see ghosts, and a drug-addicted, prostitute mama, and Happy is one child you just want to pick up and rescue. Which is what one police detective does one night, when he finds her at the scene of a crime and she leads him to another. This is a well crafted ghost story that hit all the right spots for me. Even a tender spot for Happy. Don't worry, Happy! I would take you in.
There is nothing unusual about a ghost story. What makes this one different is that the story is written through the eyes of a child. This is a short story that I would enjoy reading expanded into a book.
I loved this story. It's not a book. It took me under 30 minutes to read. I wish it would have been longer. That poor little girl. A cop finds her and she is Living in a brothel and she leads him to the body of a little girl. He takes her home to his wife and they fight to foster her. She has had a tough life. The wife is now pregnant and Happy can read her mind and she doesn't want happy anymore. It's heartbreaking to say the least. It starts with ghosts in the room that have been murdered. One named Melissa is tragically funny and the leader of the group. And they are there because they want their bodies found so they can be at peace and move on. It's an intriguing story and the ending broke my heart. I am off to read the next part and I can't wait.
