I'm a big fan of Bobby Hutchinson so was delighted when I learned she had a new book. This was a sweet story that really lifted my soul. No matter how things went for the main characters, they never gave up. There were questions left hanging but that tells me that there will be more books to follow and I can hardly wait to read them. If you've never read a book by Ms. Hutchinson, this would be an excellent one to start with. I don't think you would be disappointed. I'd recommend this book to everyone.Product details

Kate and here daughter land in a small town with a broken down car and very little money. She meets Mac and starts to work for him in his diner. He has Asperger's and has a very hard time dealing with the customers in his diner. Kate comes along with fresh ideas and helps his business. I really enjoyed this novella.
This is a short story but would love to see where the characters go from here. It was a very sweet story about unique people in imperfect situations who come together and make the best of their situations. The characters were intriguing and very well written. Would like to read more about this small town and the people in it!
An adorable but compassionate story that Ms Hutchinson has included some of life's difficulties, as in Aspergers, stalking, having love, losing it, having love again, and of course children coming and going, doing all the things children do! You will love this story as did I.. don't miss it! The Bobby Hutchinson! More please..)
I really enjoyed this book. You asked if you should write more about the little cafe, please, please do. This is a very sweet story, my only complaint, is it was to short. I like your books a lot. I hope you do write more about Starwood, the cafe and all the people who live or visit the town. I look forward to reading more of your books, take care.
I think I've read every book by Bobby Hutchinson, but I'm always on the lookout for more. Her characters are unique. The situations and settings are not a template like every other book, but each one is filled with rich settings and great people I care about. So sad this was just a short story. I'd have liked it to tell more about how it all turns out! Perhaps in another episode?
This is an excellent uplifting story. I enjoyed it very much. When things looked so awful that you just wanted to give up, it is great that good opportunites, good people, and success came after so much hard work. I strongly recommend this story for everyone.
Great little story. Really enjoyed it but wish it were longer and was left wondering about the trouble from Kate's past. Kate is traveling with her very young daughter, Susie when their car breaks down. Luckily, Kate gets a job as a waitress at Mac's dinner, the Biggest Little Truckstop. Mac is kinda standoffish but kind and there seems to be an instant attraction between Mac and Kate. Who knows what it might lead to?
